Recent Airport Projects
Bansal Construction, Inc is the sub-contractor of choice for the electrical work on runways and taxiways for all the airports in the tri-state area. The following lists many of the significant projects that Bansal Construction, Inc has completed very successfully in very tight time-frames, typical of Airport projects:
Installation of lighting cables, fiber optic cables, duct work, manholes, guard lights, taxiway edge lights, guidance signs, and IDS system for Wright Patterson Air Force Base with The Harper Company (Over $ 1 million in three separate contracts)
Upgrade the electrical system for Louisville International Airport with T.E.M Company including home run cables, vault modifications, and conversion of 280 taxiway edge lights to LED lights resulting in significant cost savings to the airport ($500K)
All the electrical work required for the construction of a new runway at the Cincinnati/N Kentucky International Airport with The Harper Company. This project required installation of taxiway edge lights, runway lights, instrumental landing systems, REIL lights, related cabling, manholes and much more ($12 million). This work was also accompanied by another independent project for FAA to install all the NAVAID systems for the 4th runway at CNKIA ($4.5 million)
Installation of the substation building, ground power unit, cabling and duct work, manholes, guidance signs and lighting for the parking apron extension for FEDEX at Indianapolis International Airport with The Harper Company ($6.5 million in three separate contracts)
Airfield pavement and R/W 6R improvements consisting of new cabling, ducts, guidance signs, guard lights, runway lights, taxiway lights, REIL, PAPI and other work at the Dayton International Airport with Mainline Road & Bridge ($900K) and as a prime contractor ($1.6 million)
Installation of R/W and T/W lights for upgrade of the 18L-36R Rehab ($5.6 million) with Hi-Way Paving.
One of our employees (Kenny Fancher) is getting ready to install taxiway edge lights at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Our employees have a combined experience of several hundred years in installing electrical systems at large and small airports.
On a recent project at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, we installed guidance signs and guard lights pictured above. On another project at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, we installed and energized over 27 signs in two days!
